The amount of vinyl needed to wrap a side mirror of a vehicle can vary depending on the size and shape of the mirror, as well as the skill of the person doing the wrapping. Generally, for a standard-sized side mirror on a car, you might need about 1 to 2 square feet of vinyl wrap material per mirror. This estimate includes some extra material for any mistakes or adjustments. Keep in mind that it's always a good idea to measure the specific mirror you plan to wrap and add a bit of extra material to ensure you have enough to complete the job without running out. Additionally, if the mirror has complex contours or shapes, you might need more vinyl to cover it effectively. To get an accurate estimate, measure your side mirror and consult with us for professional istallation.

Rims & Hub Caps Wraps

Vinyl Surface Finish determines the cost of material & Complexity level of the rim determines the cost of installation

* [variable-84] 1-yard roll
for [variable-89] sqft of vinyl [variable-88]
Enough to wrap 4 rims with [item-3742_value]" diameter each.

*Because vinyl is sold by the yard at minimum, for a 60" roll, a yard is equivalent to 15 sqft, which is the MINIMUM square footage you can buy. Therefore, the calculated price will be based on 15 sqft if the calculated square footage of the 4 rims comes out to less than 15 sqft, Moreover, by default 2" are added to the diameter to account for surface depth fluctuations.

 STEP 2: Select a rim style example from below

Solid Glossy Color

The amount of vinyl required to wrap the surface of a single rim can simply be calculated as you would calculate the area of a circle, as follows: measure the diameter of your rim from edge to edge, then divide the diameter by 2 and square the result then multiply that by 3.14. That will give you the area of the rim's surface in inches squared. Divide that by 144 to get the square footage required per rim. Multiply that by 4 to get the square footage of vinyl required to wrap 4 rims.

The amount of vinyl required to wrap a radiator grilleor diffuser can vary depending on its design and what part of the grille or diffuser you intend to wrap. If you are only wrapping the grille surrounding trim then just measure the circumference of the grille (outside the trim border) and the width of the trim. If you are on the other hand wrapping the entire radiator grille or diffuser, then just measure the width of the widest area of the grille and the height of the tallest area of the grille.
*Because vinyl is sold by the yard at minimum, for a 60" roll, a yard is equivalent to 15 sqft, which is the MINIMUM square footage you can buy. Therefore, the calculated price will be based on 15 sqft if the calculated square footage comes out to less than 15 sqft. Moreover, becuase the grille is not a flat surface so the calculated area by default is 50% more than a simple height x width area calculation.
